A Merlin Mk4 from 845 Naval Air Squadron and Wildcats from 847 Naval Air Squadron conducted a Joint Personnel Recovery (JPR) Exercise during Exercise Joint Viking in Norway alongside NH-90 helicopters from the Royal Netherlands Navy. A JPR is a method of extracting personnel from the field by helicopters.
